About Our Finance Degree

Valpo’s bachelor of science in business administration (BSBA) in finance blends a strong foundation in business with in-depth knowledge of finance. You’ll sharpen your critical thinking and communication skills through general education courses, gain hands-on experience through career readiness classes and an internship course, and build deep expertise in finance-specific coursework — preparing you for long-term success in a variety of professional settings.

The finance minor provides students with a foundational understanding of financial principles, markets, and decision-making tools essential for personal and professional success. The minor complements a wide range of majors and prepares students for careers or graduate study in corporate finance, banking, financial planning, and investment management.
